Emotional Cup Therapy Activity

$2.00

Many therapists have seen the emotional cup activity - through working with people we all come up with adaptive, new ways to use activities. With this outline, students, kids or clients alike start with naming the barriers (unhelpful cup) to their goals or feeling content, etc. Next, the person completing the activity uses the second page to practice cognitive restructuring by identifying the opposite need, reaction, support, etc. in their new cup (helpful). The last page helps them naturally flow into identifying coping strategies or focus on what they do have control of in these moments so they can work towards their wants and needs.
