hello + nice to meet you.

My name is Ericka Wild and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington state. Throughout my career I have focused my practice on working with people from many walks of life and along the spectrum of human identities. I attended UW-Madison for both my undergrad, in Rehabilitation Psychology and graduate program, Masters of Social Work. Through my education and work, I have experience with Birth to 3, respite care, group home settings, community therapy and teaming with schools (IEP/504), medical teams, neuropsychologists and community support programs, such as Boys and Girls Club. I have been providing clinical support to folks since 2017

My focus has been working alongside people so they can better understand their mind-body relationship and how they feel most connected to not only their own self but also the people and places around them (their environment). I use an eclectic blend of top-down (focusing on thoughts and higher-level thinking skills) and bottom-up (working on noticing more basic, subconscious, emotional reactions) approaches to help you explore your needs and desires. My experience working with folks in respite programs and community care have helped to mold my values around the importance of using normal, everyday experiences to help you realistically identify how your strengths can amplify your healing journey. For more information on the techniques I pull from, click the “therapy techniques” tab at the top of this page, or click the button below to get a conversation started.

Finding Your Path Counseling offers individual sessions to children, adolescents and adults, either in-person or via telehealth. My office is located in Edmonds, WA. It is on a bus route and has street parking as well as a few reserved options. It is ADA accessible and I am open to working with accommodating your needs, should that help you access my location.

While I enjoy working across the lifespan, my areas of focus and thus where I tend to find the best therapeutic matches are as follows:

  • children who may benefit from play therapy techniques

  • children and adolescents with anxiety

  • children and adolescents with 504 or IEP who may want support honing skills and exploring new supports

  • people diagnosed with or suspect ADHD or Autism

  • people diagnosed later in life (after childhood) with (or suspecting) ADHD or Autism

  • people who are interested in working with and/or through their trauma, especially those interested in Brainspotting

  • aging individuals who are interested in CBT and Humanistic approaches
